Your question is contradictory, since by it's very nature, it asks for all US Presidents in history, but then limits the answer to five choices. My answer would be a toss up between W and Herbert Hoover, but since you demand that I chose from your list, I will choose Jimmy Carter. By the way, your question should have read "Who is the worst president in this list?" Anyway, on to my answer:
Jimmy Carter is a good man, but he was a terrible president. He was a minimalist, which lead to the failure of Desert One and the rescue of our hostages. He was also a micro-manager; personally writing a schedule for who could and could not use the White House tennis courts.
The 1970s was a period of stagflation, meaning economic stagnation coupled with price inflation, as well as higher interest rates. Price inflation creates uncertainty in budgeting and planning and makes labor strikes for pay raises more likely. In 1973, during the Nixon Administration, OPEC agreed to reduce supplies of oil available to the world market. This sparked an oil crisis and forced oil prices to rise sharply, spurring price inflation throughout the economy, and slowing growth. Significant government borrowing for items such as the Vietnam War and the nuclear weapons stockpile helped keep interest rates high relative to inflation. Jawboning and price freezes had proved ineffective.
It's probably important to note that some of these problems were inherited from previous administrations. The massive deficit spending of the Nixon Administration during Vietnam led to the inflation of the late 1970s. Don't be surprised when this happens again in a few years. Our current president has made us the world's largest debtors, and your extra $200 from your tax cut isn't going to help you much when interest rates rise to 14%. In any case, Regan was right when he asked "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?" This question during the 1982 Presidential Debate won him the election.

First, there have been far more than five Presidents in U.S. History, so your list is quite incomplete.
It would've made sense if you had asked which of the following was the worst President, but even then it's a matter of personal preference and perception.
I must say that overall, George W. Bush is the worst President this country has ever had.

Because of this horrific reconstruction policies and the dubious honor of being the first president impeached.
With George W. Bush following closely at his heels.

Jimy Carter obviously followed by Bill "the Molester" Clinton
I love how these "women" have no problem with a man molesting a woman, raping another one and abusing his power over a third. I guess it's okay if you have a "D" after your name. But Clarence Thomas was a demon for asking if there was a pubic hair on a coke!

PS: How is Wilson a choice? He was THE BEST! He just got shafted because the US wouldn't approve of entrance into the League of Nations he wanted so desperately.

Actually the worst was James Buchanan. Bush is not quite as bad as him. Buchanan stuck his head in the sand while this country headed irretrievably toward civil war. Bush merely caused one in another country, sent our soldiers over to fight it and then stuck his head in the sand.

Of your list, I'd say Harding. But I'd pick Grant as the all-time worst, followed by Harding, followed by George W. Bush.
