i'm the opposite. i always thought it was the way you said but as i get older and see more of what goes on in the world and experience more and more people doing whatever they have to do at whatever cost to either get your money or get information etc I find myself becoming less tolerant. Especially too since being a victim of credit card fraud twice and having to fight to get every little where to get customer service or NOT be ripped off. I mean i've never been prejudiced or racist, i mean this more in terms i'm becoming less interactive and interested in the world outside my own circle and those i already trust, which is a real shame. i find many many others like myself who are turning inwards as they get older. now i'm not trusting at all, whereas even a few years ago in my late 20s i had a different attitude altogether. and this follows years of travel, different cultures and countries, a good education and an otherwise open mind so i'm not narrow minded in any way. Its a sane reaction to an insane world....

No its definitely the total opposite for me. As I get older, I get wiser and I am less accepting of others. I can see more how people really are when I was younger I didn't realize those things.

Yes. When I was younger I did not understand what my great grandfather was telling me for years.
He would say "Everybody got their way." (He did not always have proper speech, but he worked in the cotton fields for years and only went to school a few hours a day) He would explain that people have different personalities and temperaments and that I would have to learn to accept that they were all God's children and deal with them on that level.
He was right and now (I don't always like it) I do accept people.

Well, I've become less judgemental. My, I used to be on my high horse. I'm not really accepting of those whose morals differ a lot from me, but I don't judge them. I have a more "to each their own" attitude now. For example, neighbors are swingers. Never would have caught me dead doing anything but shooting dirty looks at them 10 yrs ago. Now, I can appreciate their personalities, and humor even though I disagree with their lifestyle.

I've always been extremely open minded, but the older I get,I become less tolerant of people's BS. You would think that as people got older, they would stop all the junior high type crap,ya know?

Pat Roberts, Bill O'riely(sp) : collectively 200 years old, complete pricks. With an unwillingness to forgive or even appreciate others different from them.
Infant: will love anyone willing to love it.
If anything you get more bitter as time goes on it appears.
I guess it would depend on your up brining.

Yes, I think that every one should be. As you grow older you are faced with persons of different backgrounds and personalities and I personally think that by each experience one should learn to accept persons as who they are, although you may not like the type of person that they are.
They might not like some personality that you portrait.

Yes, it comes with maturity. I am in my mid twenties and when I think about some of the stuff I did and the ways I acted in high school, I just can't believe it.

I've always tried to be accepting of other people. Nobody is perfect and I have no reason to judge anyone.
