I had a D&C March 26th, and had sex one week later unprotected. I've been having unprotected sex almost everyday since April 2, which was one week after the D&C. I have been feeling nauseous for the past couple weeks. I haven't had my period yet. Do you think I could be pregnant? Should i take a pregnancy test or should i wait a little while? HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

I had a D&C because I had a miscarriage. I was 13 weeks but the baby was only measuring 9 weeks. WE WANT TO HAVE A CHILD!!!!!!!!

Also, I went for my 2week post-op. and they thought I had a bladder infection, but the results came back negative. So everything is fine. No infections.

Yes, you can be pregnant, and congrats if you are. However, I'm worried that it's too soon after your D&C. Your body needed time to recuperate. You don't want another miscarriage cos your womb is too weak. Please take care.

Yes, it is suggested that after child birth a woman shouldn't have unprotected sex for 6 weeks because the woman's' body has not had time to return to it's regular cycle. D&C is the same. You need to go to the doctor! Under the circumstances a store test could give a false positive. Also you may have introduced a bacteria to your already compromised system that is causing the symptoms. Instead of pregnant you might be toxic. After you take care of your body, find out why you think you have to have sex at the risk of making yourself sick!
Unprotected sex is a Loaded Gun! Stop pulling the trigger! Don't die from stupidity!

The womb has not healed, so you want to put your baby in a sick environment from the start? Wow this could set motherhood back a hundred years or set a new child abuse precedent. At the least you could be setting yourself up for another miscarraige!

Well after having your D&C (a complete cleansing of the uterus) you are VERY fertile=you probably are pregnant. Take a home pregnancy test to make sure than make and appt. with your OBGYN. Get on some prenatel vitamins too. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!
I also hope you can carry the baby (if you are pg) full term. Hope it's not too soon after your D&C-your womb may still be weak. GOOD LUCK!!

I would say its possible. Make an appointment with your doc to be sure and if you are what you need to do to prevent another miscarriage, they may recommend bed rest until you are so far a long. Good luck, hope everything works out for you!

I would go to the doc...even if you take an over the counter test, it could show a false positive because of the hormones still being in your system. Sorry to hear that you miscarried! Good luck to you!

You can take a pregnancy test now, it wouldn't hurt anything.
Normally your cycle will have to begin again before you'll get pregnant.
Sorry to hear you had to have a D&C. :(

Oh bloody hell, I cannot believe anyone would have unprotected sex after having a D & C. YES, you could be pregnant! Take a test. And if you're pregnant, please don't have another D & C. Have the baby and give it up for adoption. Don't make the same mistake twice. There are some of us who can't get pregnant, you know. It's called infertility. Jesus.
