Does anybody remember when George H W Bush made a speech about taxes and he said, "Read my lips, No new taxes" then he raised taxes more than any other president up to that time frame. So do you really believe that America's best protection against the draft is Dubya? Get real, if we can no longer maintain troop levels they way the government thinks it should have, there will be a draft. Volunteerism isn't effective for soldiers - thank goodness I and my children are too old to be drafted!

i'm no longer a Bush supporter. I do have self assurance we sent our troops to Afghanistan & Iraq in numbers some distance too small to correct carry out their responsibilities. yet i'm against any defense force draft. i've got self assurance voluntary defense force provider is a thank you to bypass. This united states merely desires to appeal to greater & greater applicable human beings via offering greater applicable pay & advantages & doing a greater expert interest of recruiting. the indoors maximum "protection contractors" our government makes use of in those international locations do no longer look to have a issue recruiting & they pay lots greater to their workers. Why can no longer the government use various the money earmarked for the contractors bypass to our provider men & women????

I wouldn't doubt if he holds the lives of his "patriotic" supporters (those without brains) above the lives of those who disagree or question him (those with brains). Drafts are NEVER random. whether its the poor who are always sent to war, or those who disagree with an administration politically.

Could you imaginine a nation of Bush suppoters -
I pledge allegiance to george bush,
ruler of the united states of america,
and to the republican for which He stands,
no fornication under bush,
indivisable,
skooter libby, and supreme court justices for all

(scary, very scary)

If we didn't have Shrub killing the troops morale, starting wars all over the place, and threatening other countries, we wouldn't have the critical shortage of troops that we have now.

So if there is a draft, it will be to fight the wars that Shrub starts.

Bush brought in and signed the war commissions act in 2006 which is actually a DRAFT for ALL children/young adults, male and female to serve for at least 2 years ages 19-26 years old...warn your kids. They owe this traitorous government NOTHING !! They have deceived, murdered, and killed americans intentionally to benefit themselves and call them all "collateral damage"

again we see bush making promises and statements that basically illustrate that he never does anything because it's the right thing to do.

there may be a time when a draft IS the right thing to do...
