I went to Hotwire.com and I want to go to AC and the hotel that came up is
3.5-star hotel in Downtown Atlantic City Customer Favorite! This distinctive establishment offers comfortable rooms, personal service and some upscale features. For 259 a night...does anyone know which hotel this is???

Try going to Travelocity.com to find/search for it. They'll show every hotel in the area for you on a map (and you can also list them in order of star-ratings or price & more) and there's also reviews and pictures and all kinds of stuff there. I had a great experience with them. Good luck!

Be careful of "downtown" Atlantic City hotels.
What you really want is the hotels on the boardwalk. Those are the best, and they are where all the action is with a short walking distance.
Check them out carefully before you accept a hotel in the "downtown" blindly. Atlantic City is known to be a very rough/tough city with lots of crime.
