Basketball has no longer caught on like it has in different worldwide places, that isn't too say that's no longer performed here for the reason that's yet at extra of a college point and is considered extra of an interest particularly than human beings extremely enjoying it heavily. some human beings do play it heavily however i could think of. additionally do no longer the Chicago Bulls have a Brit, Luol Deng, even thou he replaced into born in Sudan yet he grew to strengthen right into a British citizen and that i think of even discovered to play the sport here or a minimum of all started too. basic however your suitable, the British do no longer look to excel at basketball no remember if or no longer that's loss of activity or lack of ability. lol.

i knew some one at school, i called him a paki he turned round nicely and said that he's not a paki but an indian,he wasnt angry or upset, no racist coment no nothing he was polite a explained stuff an we became mates. so if someone calls you a paki instead of calling us ignorant try explaing what you are and the differences. just remember you or your family chose to come to this country you should not call us ignorant.

Ok- I'm on this site and all i see are comments about Brits and Britian. WTF???
I was taught as a youngster that the correct term for someone of mixed race is something that they actually find offensive- it was what i was told by my parents- who were bought up in a different generation.
You cannot possibly slate us for generation changes!! Polictial correctness is going too far. Come on, please- coffee without milk- as opposed to black coffee? Chalk board as opposed to black board??? It's an effin colour!!! What does it matter? it's stil a board. it's still a coffee. We are still people.
Name calling happens whether we are British, American (!) or otherwise. So why pick on us Brts?????

My best friend is 100% Cuban, here in the Greek part of Florida, People assume that she is Greek, they start speaking to her in Greek. Others think she is Mexican. How far apart are these Countries for crying out loud.
It just goes to show, that people should never ASSUME.
I just figure that people who are not well traveled, or well informed are doomed to make these offensive mistakes until they choose to educate themselves.

you can't just call an entire race of people ignorant, i find that equally as ofensive, if i were to be called a "chinkie" which i have a mum thats from chile, and my dads from scotland, and i managed to get called that the other day.

perhaps it is not a good idea to tar us all with the same brush. There can be no doubt that some Brits are racist and offensive with it; that should not imply that all of us fall into the same category.

You're being just as bad for steriotyping, calling us 'Brit's ignorant'. Maybe, just maybe, your view/experience of British citizens is of a minority. A stupid minority at that. The few British citizens who are racists are idiots, please don't add yourself to that list by thinking we are all like it, because believe me -we aren't. There are many of us, including myself who stick up for other cultures of our society, it's not nice to be included in a group you class as ignorant.
