Always keep on criticizing the worlds best players (ie. Zidane and Ronaldinho) and then when one thing remotely of criticism towards Cannavaro, she slams them.. I have said, I knew Cannavaro would win the award for his contributions to the Azzurri in lifting the Cup (in a WC year it goes to the most important player on the WINNING team)... Juventina, what do you honestly think of Zidane (3 time WPOY) and Ronaldinho ( 2 time WPOY) compared to Cannavaro (1 time WPOY)

I don't make it a habit of insulting any teams or players, but when I get attacked by touzours and MJ I'm going to fight back. I'm not going to let anyone insult the Italians!!
I've been here longer than any of you, have a look at my questions and answers before touzours changed her sex!!
@man u....all you know how to do is insult and swear at users, I know more than you think ...shouldn't you be in school instead of insulting Italians??

She's just defending Cannavaro, like any good fan would. All of the crap he's been getting has been so harsh. And really, aren't we all biased towards our teams? I mean, you wouldn't hear a French fan complimenting Italian players and the same goes vice versa. No fan is ever happy to hear bad things being said about their players.

I don't actually remember her insulting other non Italian players. But I haven't been here much lately.
Nevertheless let me remind everyone, that we are all here because we LOVE the game.
In a way, we must promote football. We must get our kids, friends and even strangers to like this amazing game called football, soccer, voetball, calcio etc.
And it is the players, more than teams that constitute the game. The players form the backbone of great teams, even those without great teams, still excel and excite us, like Weah for Liberia, Francescoli for PSG or De La Pena.
We must respect players for their abilities irrespective of race, nationality or skin colour.
And you can't be a true fan, if you're say, Italian, and cannot acknowledge the greatness of Cantona, Zidane, Maradona etc.
You might not like a player as a matter of taste or choice, but you must respect him for his ability.
Support your clubs or country in matches, but respect your opponents when they play better than your team. I remember Man Utd fans giving Ronaldo and Redondo standing ovations, even though Real Madrid eliminated them on both occasions.
It was because they were good for Madrid that night, against United.
So don't put down players, just because others do it out of immaturity.
I dislike Cristiano Ronaldo quite a bit, but I won't deny that he has been outstanding this season, and deserves some kind of award, if he keeps it up, and can outperform Ricardo Kaka.
And I hope this reminder settles the matter. Who is right or wrong (between you and her) is immaterial, let's forget the past comments and move on, promoting football as we go along.

I dunno. I guess she just thinks Cannavaro is the best cuz of the simple fact that he's Italian. I strongly disagree cuz to me, it's Zidane and Ronaldinho!

I think she is just having fun with it. Same as alot of us do.
No one should get really that upset about their team losing. We all love the sport. Lets try to show respect to one another.
