I actually think they will. They wont win the championship but they can definently go all the way.

As far as who will win it all. I have to say the Spurs. Dallas they have the best record, but San Antonio is to dangerous when their main 3 guys are healthy.

They could get to second round and they may not pass Detroit.

Why the Bulls will win the East: First, and most importantly, they play defense. Chicago ranks second in the NBA in field-goal percentage allowed at 43.7 percent. The Bulls are among the league leaders in blocked shots and steals, and they rebound the ball well (plus-2.6 differential). They do a lot of the things that championship teams have done historically in the NBA. They're deep, well-coached by Scott Skiles, and they're a great three-point shooting team. And assuming the current playoff seeds hold, No. 2 Chicago will avoid Miami, Cleveland and Detroit until the conference finals.

Why the Bulls won't win the East: They don't have an inside scorer. When was the last time an NBA champion didn't have at least one post-up scorer? Detroit? The Pistons at least had Rasheed Wallace. Points are harder to come by in the playoffs, and if you don't have a superstar player who can get you easy points – either in the paint or from the free-throw line – life can get very difficult. Also, this Chicago team has never won a playoff series. It's difficult to make the leap from first-round losers to NBA champs in one step.

You decide if they can win the east or not. They avoid the stronger teams in their conference however this roster has still yet to win a playoff series.

I think you have to consider the Bulls' ranking in the East. They are #5. I do believe that they have a strong chance at beating the Heat in round one as long as they keep playing the way they did in game one. The Heat seems to be a little out of sync since their main two, Shaq and Wade, have been out so long with injury and the Bulls have been able to capitalize on that. My only issue with the Bulls is that they will have to meet up with the Pistons in the second round, and that is where the great test comes from. If they can hold off Deroit then I believe that they will make it to the Finals. I am pullin' for da Bulls, go get em fellas!

They have a good chance. They have a deep lineup. I don't think they will actually win the Eastern Conference, but they have a good chance.

Luol Deng is the key. If he can be a difference maker like he was in Game 1 vs the Heat, then the Bulls will go far. But if Ben Gordon is shooting too much, the Bulls are in trouble.

Being a late-season push team, they should carry lots of momentum into the post-season and win the East. The Bulls took the season series with the Pistons 3 games to 1 with two blowouts. I don't think Detroit is going to be that big a problem. Same thing with the Heat, Bulls took 3 of 4 from them too. Since da Bulls got bounced from the playoffs by the Heat last season, I think they would love to return the favor if given the chance.
Go Bulls!

The Bulls have a good chance if they can hang on to the number 2 spot. They wouldn't have to face anyone tough until the Pistons in the Conference Finals. If they can get past the Pistons, don't be surprised if they win it all.

As far as who I think will win, the Pistons will kick their game up a notch in the playoffs and take the trophy home....and put it next to the Stanley Cup the Wings will win.

they may win the east! you are 100% correct on what you said about the spurs they are dangerous but you have to also look at how dallas has been playing since they went on a 4 game losing streak in the begininng of the season. The spurs are a talented ball club and it will be an interesting playoff matchup between these 2 teams in the confrrence finals!

I believe that the Bulls have a little chance of winning the East, but I don't think that they will. They have too tough of a path of making it there. They have to beat the Heat, then they will have to play the Pistons, and then probably the Cavs. I know that they could beat all of those teams in the reg. season, but they will be too worn out after long series with the Heat, and probably lose to the Pistons in six.

The Bulls would have a better chance if they had more of an inside presence that can score in the paint. Ben Wallace is a great defender but doesn't really concern anyone on offense. the Bulls will give the Heat fits but if they beat them they would have to go through Detroit. they had their chance to get the 2 seed but they choked. Good Luck!!!

The Bulls will not win the Eastern Conference finals. They pretty much screwed it up the other night when they lost to Milwaukee. Now they have to go through Miami and Detroit just to get to the East finals. They definately will not win the east.
