I would have thought that Joseph "hollaback youngin'" Lieberman would have jumped parties after the Dems threw him in the oven last year.

I'm not surprised at all. Once you start to accept the lies of the Democratic party, it's hard to go back and see the truth. You have to admit that you were wrong about everything. Most people can't do that.

Lieberman is for himself and Israel !!! He is not a Democrat he was elected by the Repugnuts of Connecticut because he lost the Primaries in the Democratic Party. Why anyone would vote for that drone is beyond me!!!!

He is a big supporter of the Iraq war. (Can you say Israel?) He was elected by sneaky Republicans in Connecticut using crossover voting.
That said, he's still useful as a Democrat because there is a razor thin majority in the Senate.

Other than his undying support for Israel he is still pretty much a liberal. So, no, I am not surprised that he has remained a democrat.
