You've answered your own question. Light cannot escape from a black hole, because the escape velocity for a black hole is greater than the speed of light, a physical impossibility. Since no light escapes from the black hole, no light travels from the black hole to your eye, meaning that the black hole is a completely non-luminous entity. It emits no light and it appears black.

Well when the light and the black they like get crossed up and then the black with the light they sorta feed back black.
This black feed back sorta crosses into the light,like,and the light feeds back so you just get the black

For the same reason that if you were locked in a room with no light, it would look pitch black. Black means no light.
