Hiya Sun... I do think you have every right to buy a new wardrobe. It's your money, bottomline. I don't think men forethink... I can imagine he doesn't want you to were a parka in the spring/summer but maybe he just havent thought that far down the road. I dont purchase a new wardrobe in the spring. I just wear the stuff I got. But if you're using your own money and are still paying your bills I see no problem with spending your money the way you want to.

my hubby tries to get me to buy new clothes but I cant do it--id rather do something productive with that money like pay bills or save for college funds. Clothes are just fabric.
