I've had crushes on people on and off my whole life. That's what adds spice to my day. I don't always let them know it though until I get to know them better. By that time I may move on because we don't have the same goals. People who send mixed signals are a PITA. I drop them immediately. I figure if you're the kind of person who wants to charm every person you meet until you pick the best of the bunch for Saturday night you may as well move on. I feel you let people know how you want to be treated right away. If the one you have a crush on is not worth it or a player well, its been fun but NEXT.

The best way to unmix those signals is to be direct. Don't waste time, life is too short. Communication is the most important thing, next to the actual feelings you may have. Be confident, and be direct.

I've had that problem in the past. But it was probably my fault moreso than hers. I started out wanting to be friends (I never liked asking to date someone or for her to be my girlfriend straight out), but I never pulled the trigger to try for something more. I think she would've been interested, but we let things go in a wrong direction (got on each other's nerves) and stopped spending much time with each other. I still think starting out as friends is best. But I need to do better about asking where this is going and making a decision on where I want it to go.

That was last week. But this week feels awfully bad because of it. Have to get smarter, I guess. Some guy started flirting and when I answered he freaked out and thought I was a stalker. What do stalkers even DO??? Kinda ruined Answers for me but I'm still here this morning hoping the hurt and shock goes away. Sick at my stomach. And Definitely Thanks for Asking!! Really.

Yes, and it's driving me crazy. One minute he's telling me he's giving up dating and the next he's telling me that I'm great and the best to hang out with. I just don't get it.

BTW Everybody.....DON'T go to the blog link that Kristine Koffler posted, it has nothing to do with this, it's about a guy who wants you to watch him play with himself online, she has posted it on every question she has answered, or he more likely....I'm reporting that answer as abuse
