I haven't seen the news article yet, BUT... I'll do a quick search. The ONLY mention I find of a female-female scandal is in a AP article from 2002 in the CNN archive (http://archives.cnn.com/2002/fyi/teachers.ednews/06/13/teacher.student.sex.ap/index.html) ??

Just the same: Any teacher engaging in relations or relationship with a student is a violation of ethics... and if the student is a minor; a violation of the LAW.

ANY teacher who tries that with my son or daughter is going to PAY with a beating prior to their arrest and prosecution !

Please post a LINK to the article/ current event you're discussing...

A big bunch of trouble over nothing, the student was 16 and that is plenty old enough to know what she was doing, and ti was consensual. Bad judgment on the part of the teacher perhaps, but not criminal. Except for the silly outmoded "underage rape" laws our country keeps holding on to.

I assume you are talking about the LSU coach. The only problem is that the coach should not mix with current players.
The only good thing to come out of it is Van Chancellor is now the coach.

I had a family member who was stalked by her lesbian gym teacher...but that was when you just hushed it up and didn't report it. I think we are more enlightened about victims rights these days.

Most likely, the female teacher experienced the same when she was young, and the cycle goes on....

What difference does it make if they are both female? This should not happen at all.

What do I think of it? I don't bother to think of it. Why should you? It's not like it's anything new. I'm not condoning it but don't you think actions like this are as old as history? We'll never stamp it out. Please stop sermonizing everyone--it's about as impressive as saying "Gosh, murder's really BAD! People who murder are...murderers! They're the bad peoples."
