i can practically predict what is gonna happen throughout the entire episode; used to think it was funny five years ago

I agree, the show has gone past it's prime and has become so ridiculous that I don't watch anymore. I would have preferred that they ended it several years ago and let me love the reruns instead of just driving it into the ground.

The Simpsons has always been like your explanation.
It is a decent show, but take it for what its worth. It was never cutting edge social commentary as some of its supports used to describe it.

you maybe able to predict the episode because you have watched the show for soooo long, you know how the writers think- how they make thecharacters respond. You know how to think like the show.

It is still funny one of the classic cartoons still on TV. And give them a break after 13 seasons its kinda hard to come up with new things

Ya this has started to happen to me. I used to think it so funny but then I watch it sometimes now and dont enjoy becuase it seems really repetitive. Your not the only one!!

I agree but I occasionally laugh and that's all I need. Also, the show is still on so I guess enough people are satisfied to keep it going.

perhaps, but thats also because the simpsons have been on for so many years, they've got to be out of fresh ideas
