I talk to my two dogs all the time. They always tilt their head to the side as if really listening and considering what I'm saying. Then they always talk back!

I agree, I work outside at night, so I see lots of wildlife and it's true, alot of them are very curious when you speak to them, especially deer, and foxes. The alligators don't listen at all.

I chat with my canaries. I just copy what they say. And they respond. My voice is deeper then there's though

I talk to all of them. My wolf sits there and cocks her head back and forth like she understands every word . At times I am sure she does !

Language is nothing more than Thoughts put To Speech, so I would not be at all surprised if they understand much of what we say to them!
