It can vary from one person to another. Things like how regular you were, if the birth was c-section or vaginal, if you choose to breastfeed, etc can affect this. For many women, it's somewhere between 4-6 weeks after birth. Be careful though, as it is possible to get pregnant again before you've had your period!

It really depends. Some women can go back to normal right after while others take months. Breastfeeding sometimes delays periods. It's mainly because of hormone levels in each woman. It is wise to start birth control soon after birth just in case ;)

Depends on the woman, but generally a few months. Make sure you use birth control as a precaution.

Your uterous will take apx 10 weeks to retract to normal size and function normally after the child birth.Normal size of uterous roughly equals ur closed fists for birth it will sterch to keep upto 20lbs load ( 8-10 lb child and rest fluids).
You are safe upto this 10 weeks , If you are lactating and breast feeding your child add 10 more weeks but be careful henceforth.

It takes about 4-6 weeks although my started a little after two weeks. If you are breastfeeding your menstral cycle can be delayed even longer.
