Is there an alert that is not javascript?

If so what are the tags.

I am trying to post an alert but the place I am trying to post it on states it can NOT be javascript and I have no clue how to put an alert up without Javascript.

Thanks in advance.

If your html file is being posted to a viewer who has no javascript then you may imbed a section containing a piece of text (containing, say, the alert) within

This is the alert!!!

Check with them if they allow perl or php, these have plenty of facilities to present information for alerts etc. If they have none of these , move your site.
