I have a best friend. We've been friends for 4 years. Now we're in highschool. She joins clubs and activities in school so I don't see her that often anymore. How can we see each other besides e-mailing and calling her. I can't join the clubs and activities that she joined because I have to babysit.

I have 3 good friends from high school (20 yrs). Still friends. I see them in phases. I talk and email and have lunch alot for about a month and them we wont talk for 5 months. We are still friends, we just have lives. Your not loosing your friend just because you can't join in.
Can you take the kids you babysit to watch your friend? Keep doing what you are doing. High school is only 4 years of your life, good friends are forever. Be with her when you can. She will remember how you made the effort and it will pay off in the end.

well one thing is for sure, your friendship seem to be rock sollid. you would learn through time that you don't need to see the people you love as often as to the quality of time you spend together will change everything. well you can if possible ask her to come babysit with you on her day off. get a web-cam and star some sort of "movie friendship" with technology today all things are possible. use your time wisely during break time at school. the most important: respect her decisions.

I went through that as well. I think you guys can still keep in contact as well as you're both willing to make the time. The friend I was friends with did the same thing, but she and I grew apart so much that keeping in contact just kind of faded. She actually got "too big for her britches" in high school and beyond and still doesn't reply, so I moved on. You guys might end up growing apart, but if you're both willing to keep in contact, you will!!!

plan a set day every week when your both free so you can do something even if its a few hours, see a movie, shopping trip, stuff you both like so you can have a good gossip and laugh. if the friendship is strong you can both make time.

hang with your friend if she is free on the day she have no activities so you can be much closer.
