Don't take this the wrong way: but it sounds like you might talk *too* much. When you get the feeling that your talking to yourself, it means the other person has lost interest and stopped ingaging with you.
~A good way to combat that is to take a break from what your talking about. Come up for air and let the other person take over for a little while, then it will be your turn again.

no you dont. you just need somebody to talk to and have relate with you about things. I know , i am the same way.
I am single and dont have anybody to talk to when I get home, so I come on here and rant and let loose what has been bothering me all day or talk about what I think about something or get recommendations about issues.
it is normal.

Nope. The other way around. I am talking to myself and then someone says something to me, and I don't know what to say. It's a bad habit, but it allows me to get my thoughts straight. Annoys other people sometimes though.

Yes sometimes when the person I am talking to is distracted and doesn't even bother act like they are listening. It's rather annoying.

Yeah, that happens to me...so I just quit talking or just talk over them to let them know I have a point to get across. But people don't like it when you're not listening to them

I always feel like I'm talking to myself!!
It's so frustrating!
It's like "if you're not going to listen and talk, tell me so I can go do something else"

I really don't like when a person looks away at other things when I'm talking to them...or glances down at their watch...rude...
