yes....for this reason, my period stopped for 3 months...later, i regulate it taking zink tablates......try zink tablets for 2/3 months continiously, it will also make ur period regular and less painful.

Yes severe iron deficiency can lead to severe anaemia and in turn will lead to stopping the period.
