Usually universitys have reprograpics departments which will bind your dissertation for you for a small cost. Have you invesigated this? My dissertation is due in at the end of the week, good luck with yours!

First -- congratulations. The day I handed in my dissertation was one of the happiest of my life (and not just because Berkeley gave me a lollypop that said Phinally Done).

Is this for your own copy? It doesn't look like UK requires you to hand in a bound copy.

The link below include the FAQ for UK Dissertations -- including four places where you could get your dissertation bound.

The second link contains the instructions for handing in your dissertation.

I can't resist giving you a hard time about this. It took me about one minute to find this information on UK's web site. Shouldn't a PhD have these kinds of researching skills?

i'm on the uni (merely going into 2d year besides the incontrovertible fact that) and that i keep in mind seeing a place down Woodhouse Lane (going faraway from uni end and in the direction of the city direction). i'm no longer able to keep in mind what this is referred to as or something besides the incontrovertible fact that this is on that portion of the line, merely previous Halo next to Strawbs Bar and Unipol on the corner. I keep in mind seeing dissertation bounding being marketed there.

Kall Kwik are very good - they'll soft-bind for about £5, and hard bind for a bit more. Check out the union too - sometimes they'll have a list of places that'll do it cheaply, or will have an in-house shop.

Our university (University of Liverpool) libraries have binding machines, and people will show you how to use them. Or ask in your department/look at your university web page!
