My doctor told me one time to just get any douche that was vinegar and water. she didnt specify the name brand, and said basically get the cheapest one, as long as it was vinegar and water. Douching is not really good because it takes away the good bacteria as well as the bad, so when its all said and done, your body is going to produce more bacteria to make up for the good ones it lost during the douche.

Summers Eve is just a brand name of a regular douche.

I really don't recommend douching, and using vinegar can make your vaginal area too acidic. Get an over-the-counter antifungal cream that is meant to be used in the vaginal area, such as Monistat (or a generic version of that). Or ask your doctor to call in a prescription for fluconazole over the phone.

I agree with all of the answers that you have about not douching. You should not do it. my doctor told me that is why us women have periods. Also if you do douche it can cause infections, cause you push up all the bacteria that is in the vagina. But talk to a OBGYN, or your family doctor before doing it. They will help you out.

Summer's Eve Vinegar and Water seems the best, but you shouldn't use more then maybe once a month (after period).

Neither is healthy.

Douching is bad for you...it actually pushes germs further up inside you.
