I need ideas for a spectacular programming project. My school's standards are rediculously low (our advanced programming class is being taught VB; my last project was a simple calculator and my teacher thought it was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen) but I would still like to do something really well. I need something that I can do with VB 2005. My experience includes 10 years of programming, but only mediocre experience with VB specifically.

well you always want to think of things people can use, people like, and things they will use often. try finding some idea already out there, personalizing it so your not completly copying, and combine it with something else you did the same thing for. people like having a lot of options in one thing so put some thing together.(just make sure its easy to use).
