I am 11 weeks pregnant and sometimes after sex I bleed... Sometimes it is sort of heavy, but normally it is light. Is this something I should be seriously concerned about?? I need advice so if anyone can tell me anything expecially if you have experienced anything like this please tell me. I am concerned about this.

hey hun, i just had a baby 2 months ago. That never happend to me while i was pregnant, although i never let him go in all the way because it hurt too bad. So maybe you are just over doing it a little. you might probably want to stop for a while just until you talk to your doctor or midwife, because there could be something wrong with your uterous. i have heard of this happening before but i am not too sure about what it is. The doctor is probably going to want to have you checked out, because when it comes to pregnant women, they are always extra cautious

Good luck hun, i hope everything is alright, and im sure it it.

Bleeding after sex isn't totally normal...pregnant or not. It's not unheard of, but I would hold off until speaking to the Dr. It could be due to hormonal changes during sex(especially if you climax), but that would only explain the light bleeding. I'd be concerned if there is heavy bleeding so you need to speak to your physician...especially at such a delicate time in the pregnancy. If there isn't any cramping with the bleeding, then you shouldn't completely freak out. But get in to see the dr. soon! Good luck!

It's good that you know the bleeding is tied to intercourse, or else I would be more worried for you! But still, I would call and talk to your doctor/midwife or just the nurse and tell them what happens after sex and they might have some recommendations, especially since sometimes the bleeding is heavy.

This might include restrictions on intercourse, or maybe different positions.

Best of luck!

YOU NEED TO SEE YOUR DR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bleeding in pregnancy is common. Bleeding every time you have sex is not! you could very well have an infection that left untreated could be harmful to the baby!
It may very well be nothing to worry about, but until the Dr tells you that, you should be concerned!

this could also be a sign of A LOW PLACENTA. That was the case with me.. first pregnancy.

Call your health care provider if you're unsure whether sex is safe for you. Also, call if you notice any unusual symptoms after intercourse, such as pain, bleeding, or discharge, or if you experience contractions that seem to continue after sex.

Remember, "normal" is a relative term when it comes to sex during pregnancy. You and your partner need to discuss what feels right for both of you.

Contact your ob if you have any bleeding during pregnancy. Bleeding during or after sex is fairly common during pregnancy, but it is still something you should talk to your ob about. I wouldn't panic. It is a sensitive area, and many women experience this type of bleeding.

If you have any sort of bleeding you should contact your Dr. especially after having sex (DBL especially if its heavy!) I would call your DR. right away and quit having sex. Your Dr. will probably put you in high risk therefore no sex!!! I hope everything is alright!!! CALL YOUR DR.!!!!!!!

I wouldn't think so, you should ask the doctor, you must know that. I didn't have any bleeding when I was pregnant.

the same thing happened to me while i was pregnant my doctor said it was fine and that it was due to extra blood flow
as long as its not heavy or accompanied by cramps i think your fine just mention it to your doc at your next appt.
