The Lions will not take thomas.

The Raiders will take Russel

And I know alot of people are gonna laugh when the Lions take another Wide Receiver however this time Calvin Johnson is the right pick. He is clearly the best player (and safe) in the entire draft.

Millen will get killed for this until they see the Johnson/Williams combo grow to be the next Harrison/Wayne or Boldin/Fitzgerald combo

Joe Thomas of Wisconsin. He is extremely large. If the Lions had a line, Joe Kitna would be pretty good. Its pointless to draft JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn when they will spend more time on the ground than actually throwing the ball.

If Oakland goes with JaMarcus Russell (and they should), then Detroit will probably pick Joe Thomas if they stay at #2. There's still the possibility that if Calvin Johnson doesn't go to the Raiders that some team will be desperate for his services and trade up to get him.

Calvin Johnson via a Detroit trade with Tampa Bay. However, if Detroit gets stuck picking at #2, I believe they will draft for need and select Gaines Adams.

Glen Dorsey is going No. 1. It may not be to Miami, but he'll go No. 1. Unless, the Rams trade the No. 2 pick (some team may want to move up and draft McFadden) I can see them taking Jake Long, the OL from Michigan. They need to improve their offensive line.

It will probably be Calvin Johnson after the Raiders take JaMarcus Russell and Detroit trades down to let Tampa Bay come up and get Johnson

Depends on if they trade their pick on draft day. If they dont it will either be Joe thomas or Calvin Johnson. No QB cause Jon Kitna didnt do so good yet he is the only suck *** quaterback that didnt get cut all off season. The Lions love him.

#1 Raiders select Russell.

#2 Tampa Bay selects Calvin Johnson (via trade from Detroit).

#3 Cleveland selects Joe Thomas

#4 Detroit selects Gaines Adams

I'm almost positive that Russel is going to Oakland... as for # 2.... well I hope the Lions trade the number two pick to Tampa, cuz if they do then it will be Calvin Johnson most likeley... However, if they don't trade, they probably go with Quinn

This will definitely depend on what the Raiders decide to do with their number one pick and if the Lions decide to trade down to obtain an extra pick or not. If the Raiders pick Jemarcus Russell out of LSU then I think the Lions will take Joe Thomas OL of Wisconsin or trade down to take posssibly for a quarterback for the near future.
