I prefer Thanksgiving because people aren't all worried about what they are going to get but just want to be with their family and friends

I prefer St. Swithen's Day because it's my birthday.
But, of those two I love Thanksgiving.
It's actually a celebration. Families get together and give thanks for all they have.
Christmas is just a major competition to see if you get more stuff than your friends. because whoever gets the most wins !
In case you are wondering, I am a Christian, I just don't see how killing a tree and putting it in the house with lights and piling gifts around it celebrates the life of Christ.
But ! That's just my own personal opinion. Your actual mileage may vary.

Christmas! It is so much fun, you get to decorate the house with lights, get a christmas tree, listen to Christmas music, eitc, etc, etc. What's not to love about Christmas?
