Because things just happen. There's no "why" behind it. I stopped worrying about laws of karma and what not when I finally realized they're just concepts humans event for wishful thinking. We'd all love to think that nasty things happen to the people we don't like, and those we think get short-changed have something good coming to them, but I still think it's wishful thinking.
(And le Noir should have read the question more carefully)

Good and bad things know not good nor bad people. It has no preference. It simply happens across the spectrum.
God gave each of us a free will...the ability to make our own decisions...good or bad. Adam and Eve made a bad decision that affected everyone in their genealogy. In other words...all of us! That sin nature has (and will be) carried on through all of our ancestors, us and our children. Those sins have created things like illnesses which may make us sick...even though we may generally be considered good.
It is also important to note that we are not sinners because we sin. We all sin because we are all sinners. We are all bad people. Perhaps different levels of bad, but all bad none the less.

Dear Tesper :
It just seems as a law : nothing dissapears, only changes owner's !!!
Then if You loose something, someoneelse will find it to keep
It seems quite a hopeless question, yet the thruth is that Good people always know that being honest is not the way to wealth.
Truly. Anyone of Us may easily become drug dealer, as an example, yet that money will have it's toll on Your peace of mind.
Good luck! Bear Hugs! ;-)

I believe good things happen to people who are focused and believe in what they can achieve. People who suffer bad luckusually always assume nothing will ever go right for them therefore that happens. Look up "the secret" online, buy the dvd and see for yourself.

It's all about perception. If you perceive only bad things, that is all you will attract into your life even if you are as holy as a good angel. It's all about energies. You think of the negative, you attract things to you that have similar negative energy.

the explanation can be compared to a balloon. you fill it up with air....it looks nicer as air is blown into it...nicer...nicer....and finally when the limit is crossed.....it bursts...
good things happening to bad people is like that....someday they fall down so hard...that they get completely destroyed.
and i agree good people are taken for granted :x
but if you observe it carefully...they win atlast. just a bit of patience is required....i came to know this yesterday! :)
don't worry....if you are a good person...you won't have any regrets. :)

Yeah right! as if Hitler became the Boss of Germany over night. Bad people and good people both gets goodthings and badthings. it's just that doing good is harder than doing bad.

Nobody really knows. But a healthy faith says to accept it all and strive for what is right because something a lot bigger than ourselves is sovereign, and that there is a hidden justice in the universe, i.e., nobody gets away with anything.

Perhaps it's because bad people cheat whereas good people don't. That's what sprang straight to mind on reading your question.
