When I go to a site to view a video of something, it will play for a bit then just stop and do nothing for a time, then resume and play some more then repeat again and again. It just freezes for maybe 15 seconds (it varies) before resuming. Why is this?

You are probably trying to run a video on a Dial up Networking (DUN) connection.

To run a streaming video, you need to have a faster connection with adequate bandwidth.

The video is bufferred first on your harddrive, that is why you see it stopped in the middle and then run again. If you have faster connection, the buffering would take less time and you will have a smooth experience.

Your internet connection isn't fast enough. Some video sites allow you to reduce the screen size. This may help speed up the download.
