All of the so-called evils are just political mud-slinging.

Anyone who believes that an adult should receive the fruits of another's labors, by compulsary means, is evil. But her lack of thought renders her harmless because the evil of her works are as transparent as her image.
Nevertheless, the Senate is constitutionally charged with making treaties, declaring war, and all other foreign relationships. The Presidents military powers do not constitutionally supercede the Senate's powers abroad.
Nancy Pelosi was justified in her visits abroad, but I must admit that delivering messages for other countries is not authorized by the constitution (last time I checked).
But getting the message wrong in a region and subject of such sensitivity was indeed very costly and embarrasing for the USA. It at least cost her credibility for a while, and foreign nations may overlook it if she is replaced with someone who gives more thought to such things. I'm just thinking out loud here, but it seems like there should be consequences for abusing one's powers and hurting our nation at the same time; for instance, the loss of Senate majority leader status. :) Sorry but our national image and interests supercede Nancy Pelosi's, IMHO.

She's just the typical politician. The rules are for 'other' people. She's no worse and no better than most in Congress and therein lies the problem. Remember she talked about cleaning up the corruption? Then she proceeds to pass a minimum wage act excepting American Samoa. Guess what company has a big installation there? And guess in who's district the headquarters are? If you guessed Star Kist and Nancy Pelosi you get a cheroot!
And Ginsu-li 's answer is wrong. She's thinking about Dianne Feinstein who is a Senator from CA, not a Representative from CA.

I really didn't have an opinion about her, until I read where she resigned from the MILCON committee. That is the committee that awards Federal contracts for Military Construction. she resigned because she helped steer millions of dollars of contracts to her and her husbands construction companies. Clearly a conflict of interest. So now my opinion of her is that she is just as crooked and devious as the rest of them in DC. ANd she can't be trusted. Then she goes off to Syria to talk with the prime minister of a country that is a known sponsor of terrorism. How can we trust her when she says she only went to reiterate the US stance on terrorism? And she also said she was speaking on behalf of Israel, which Israel denies. She can't be trusted by the American people, and she should at the least, be removed from congress.
And thanks all you folks who couldn't answer the question without the bi-partisan gibberish.

Pelosi is such an outright leftist, that she either doesn't think before she acts, before she speaks, or she's really as dangerous as she appears. ( i have included some TRUTH in the parentheses )
just one example, in her own words:
Nancy Pelosi condemned the new record highs of the stock market as "just another example of Bush policies helping the rich get richer". ( i make money in stocks, and hunny, i ain't rich at all...the TRUTH -- as inconvenient as it is for Nancy and Al Gore-- the vast majority of people in the stock market aren't rich, they're middle class working jerks like me )
"First Bush cut taxes for the rich ( the top 10% of wage earners pay more than 80% of the federal taxes...true--look it up, and the tax-cuts had a greater impact on the MIDDLE CLASS, regardless of what the leftist press tries to lie to all of us about ) and the economy has rebounded with new record low unemployment rates, ( and low-unemployment is a BAD thing? ) which only means wealthy employers are getting even wealthier at the expense of the underpaid working class". ( she supports illegals getting slave wages in this country--she even has had many illegals working for her own companies--at wages that would make Oprah scream in terror )
her attitude is straight out of 'Das Kapital', Marx/Engels socialism. the US is a capitalist country...that is the reason we enjoy the highest standard of living in the history of mankind.
the TRUTH of the matter is that our economy is screaming ahead, and everyone WHO IS WILLING TO WORK FOR IT can do quite well, and our "poor" ain't doing that bad either...our "poor" usually own a car, have so much food that obesity is a real concern, and a warm place to live ( if they'd get up off their fat hineys, away from the govt-purchased TV's and take care of the homes GIVEN to them...) go to Colombia if you wanna see REAL poverty.
Pelosi uses the same tired old leftist tactic of class-struggle to further her leftist aims...
the funny thing is, while she's screaming about the rich getting richer, in her private life, she's ONE OF THE RICH, and she's shafting the people who work for her and her husband in royal proportions. so, on top of being a Marxist, she's also a hypocrite and a liar.
and she could also be a criminal, in light of her recent Niddle East Meddle...google the 'Logan Act', a law as old as our Constitution...

Many people believe that she is overstepping her authority by talking with foreign heads of state.
It is the President's job to conduct foreign affairs, but the Congress has the authority to provide oversight of foreign affairs. That is the Checks and Balances part of the separation of powers.
So, Pelosi was just doing her job by going over there.

it is just partisan politics.....If it ain't a conservative, it is evil....I like the people who point out her trip to Syria, but ignore the fact that Newt Gingrich went to China as house speaker in the 90's against Clinton's wishes.

In essence she's a woman. The right wing is doing the same thing to her that they are doing to Hillary. The mere fact that she doesn't have twig and berries. Because she is a woman and has brass boobies really ticks them off.
