I have a nice Home, a Lovely Girlfriend, 2 Great Kids, a Decent Job, a Good bunch of mates, BUT
Am i sad to have over 400 DVDs in a collection?
I don't collect anything else, i only watch maybe 3 a week due to the Kids knackering me out, and i still have a social life.
So i ask again. is it sad to have that many DVD's?

if you care to look on this web-site 99% of the questions are basically the same sort of thing, idle Questions asked for a bit of fun.
Now im sure that the questions you ask are Smart, Imformative and each question has a worth while meaning to the rest of the world, and thats fine.
But in future, if you think that a question some one has, is beneath you.
Please Oh Please, don't feel required to place your Knowledge and quick wit into a question you have no interest in!

not sad at all mate we have a fair collection, though not as vast as yours but if its what you enjoy go for it pal at least you ain't pissing it up the wall and sacrificing your family life and its cheaper than the cinema.

I have over a 1000 along with limitless amounts of books on Silver screen stars and Biogs also Movie scripts and Books on Movies, movie making and script writing.
I love movies and have collectors editions that would make you drool not to mention autographed posters etc...
I am the ultimate Movie Buff!

NO WAY, JOSE!!! I-M-NVS. Are you kidding me!! 400 DVDs. Holy crap! I hope they're all action, or comedy. If they are, than you've got it good. Here's what you should do, I've done this before. Throw a movie marathon party. I had a 3 day 2 nighter at my house twice. All me and my friends did was watch really sweet movies. Though something like that. Then you'll be really popular amung your friends, and you'd have watched a lot of the movies.

That depends - do you collect js any DVD? If you have a passion for certain movies then i think its fine to collect! Its like a photo in a way - mapping your history through film! I have a large collection of DVDs (400-500) & Music (over 16days worth back to back) & i love it!!

no why. there is nothing wrong with collecting dvd's. least its something you can use over and over again for intertainment or start your own video store hehehe. some people collect useless things thats sad not in your case. chill watch a dvd

I wouldn't say it is sad, its just your hobby, some people may say so but they might do things that you think are sad. As long as your collection doesn't interfere with your life (you're not going bankrupt from buying dvds, you're not missing work to watch them) I would say it was fine.

It must be expensive- mmmm perhaps a little sad- only because it seems like a hell of a lot compared to my dvd collection- but perhaps I am the sad one for not having such a collection....mmmm tough one!
