In my experience when people say they need time and space what they really mean is that they want to break up but don't know how to tell you.Sorry! If you love her then give her time and space but while you're doing so have a bit of fun too, go out and try not to think about her too much. You may find that you actually enjoy yourself more without her! When (and if) she comes back from her "time and space" you will also have had time to reflect on your relationship and may find that you don't want to be with her at all!

if you realy do love her don't give up, just talk to her and she will tell you how long does she want you to give her same space or make a suprise for her .
e.g taking her some where she likes and after she will forget that she need a space, because that's the best way to kep a girl that you love.

If she is asking for time and space... it is probably over.
Unfortunately, I've been there... done that...
If you still want to wait then I would say.... a month.
After that the two of you should sit down and talk like two grown ups and decide if you really love each other and want to stay together or if your ways should part. So both of you could find love somewhere else.
Good luck.

have no contact with her via phone calls, or emails....give her that 'space/time' she needs..but yes...after 2-3 weeks, I would confront her again and ask is she 'ready' now to give you some of her time? If she still needs time...let her know straight up...that you won't wait forever......or play her games......you've waited the 2-3weeks....if she still can't give an answer...tell her "thanks for your honesty..i hope you have a good life as i'm moving on with mine*"
GOODLUCK*

You must give her all the time she needs my friend. which means she may decide she no longer want to be with you or she may realise after time apart that she does? Either way if you rush her or pester/presher her you will only push her away and influence her decision. Be patient honey and what will be will be. all the best. xx

Give up the moment she tells you that. She wants time and space to date around. Let her. Wish her luck and move on.

That is a nice way of saying she's getting tired of the relationship and has spotted a new potential interest.

don't set a time limit, just play things by ear and take things as they come. i'm sure as time goes by you'll feel what is the right course of action to take one way or the other.
hope it works out for you
