The light within cannot be seen until the darkness surrounds them....

Beautiful thought. Inner strength is what makes a person truly beautiful. I love any thoughts that come from Elizabeth Kubler Ross. I was fortunate enough to attend one of her "death and dying" lectures when I was in nursing school. She was amazing.

Sounds like a load of crap to me....not all people shine when the sun is out. And a lot of us shine when it's dark and gloomy anyway.
I would think that "light from within" that she is referring to is HOPE. If you lose hope, you've lost everything.

trust me not everybody sparkles in the sunshine, some sparkle only at night and i dont mean that in a bad way!! what do you think??

I think it is true, it is also something a lot of people do not think to be true, because they are fixated on the look of a person.
