The light within cannot be seen until the darkness surrounds them....

Beautiful thought. Inner strength is what makes a person truly beautiful. I love any thoughts that come from Elizabeth Kubler Ross. I was fortunate enough to attend one of her "death and dying" lectures when I was in nursing school. She was amazing.

Sounds like a load of crap to me....not all people shine when the sun is out. And a lot of us shine when it's dark and gloomy anyway.
I would think that "light from within" that she is referring to is HOPE. If you lose hope, you've lost everything.
