Elephants seldom live to 100 years. However a study on birds showed that when wild birds were caught alive as adults many were still alive 40 plus years later and showed no signs of old age. No one knows how old they can live. Birds in the parrot (including cockatoos) family which are often raised as pets can live over 100 years.
Tardigrades (waterbears) can live in suspended animation for hundred of years when dry and can come back to life when water is added.
According to some written documents from Japanese and chinese writings, koi (pronounced ko-ee), or Japanese colored carp, and some goldfish can live for over 100 years in some circumstances.

Many birds in the order Psittacidae can live to well over one hundred years. (That's why if you buy a parrot, you may want to will it to your grandkids.) Lake sturgeon can live to be 100 years old, and they have such slow reproductive rates, this is why many sturgeon species are endangered. Of course, most animals with longevity face this problem. Some bivalve molluscs (clams) can live over 300 YEARS!! And the bowfin whale has been documented to have an average livespan of over 100 years, with the maximum being over 200. Elephants do not live over 100, and around 60 is usually their max due to their teeth giving out on them and then slowly starving to death. Hope this helps!!
