This war has no winner. We lost the day we invaded. It was an ill-planned and reckless action at best. So many people have died needlessly. We went into this war on the basis of lies by the Bush administration. So many have died, both American and Iraqi. There are no winners in this mess that has lasted longer than WW2. Right now we are still there because Bush does not have the guts or grace to say he messed up. It is a contest of wills now between him and Congress. What the American people want is not even considered. I do not know how he or Cheney sleep at night. I couldn't if I had the blood from that many needless deaths on my hands. I would be down on my knees asking both God and the American people to forgive me. Nobody wins on this one.

Well......I would say 2 sides to win and one to lose!! Of Course for America to prevail in the Liberation of Iraq and actually getting the Iraqi people to step up and hold a stable Democratic Government with out our Aid. The Other winner is the Iraqi people for prevailing and getting past this rough stage in there country. Well.....we all know who the losers are.....The Terrorist!!! Democracy, Freedom, and the US will prevail because it is simply Right!

I would hope that the winner - if I had to choose one - would be a free Iraq. Because isn't that what the US went over to do? An American win would be oxymoronic.
