ok i guess ill extend the question a bit, my best friend, who is gay resently confessed that hes in love with me, and we have been sexually active for a month now, its been great so far but lately ive been feeling odd because hes always telling me about his attractions to other males, not only does it make me self-consious but it makes me wonder why im hes "only exeption" (as he has told me many times) according to him im the only woman he has ever been attracted to and that he loves me and wants to stay with me forever, sometimes i feel like hes with me for his exuse to not coming out with his family, im just really confused, i dont want to be more in love with him because im afraid one day he might realize that the love he feels for me is not what he thought it was. help!

I guess. He can be 'madly in love' with you but not have sexual feelings for you. There can still be romantic love without sex. You didn't mention if that was the case. If he's also sexually attracted to you, he may be a tiny bit bisexual. It still makes him mostly gay, since you said he identifies as 'gay', but I think a lot of people who call themselves 'straight' or 'gay' can occasionally have feelings for the opposite sex. I don't think it's totally weird. It may be more common with younger people though since they are still figuring out what they want out of life in that sense.

If he really said 'madly in love with you' that indicates a slight attraction. He would have just said I love you, you're a great friend etc. He must feel something he hasn't felt before He just doesn't know how to place it. By the way, like someone already mentioned sexuality is fluid. I have seen this happen on quite a few occasions. Also, had some gay/bi-curious men who have tried to snog me. Bi-curious gay men by the way. I also found it is the guys who came out real early and became curious later in life... You didn't say how old he is?

Yes, a guy can be gay and be in love with a woman. That does not mean that you should jump into his arms, because that might be the only love he can give you. If you are willing to experiment, you both may find a pleasant surprise in sexual fulfillment for each of you. Or, you might find that that's just not happening. If you do both get off, CONSISTENTLY, then I think you still need to be prepared for him to trick out with guys from time to time, because the addition of one attraction does not mean the elimination of another. Happiness to you both, whatever happens.

You did not say what your ages are. Anyway, maybe acting gay is just a phase in his life and he's really not gay. He could be transgender if while he's still attracted to men, is also attracted to you.
Here's another theory, maybe he saw something in you that fills what's missing in him. Men they say have women's genes and vice versa. Maybe what he lacks in male gene, he found in you?!? =)

Sure we can love women, but we won't be sexually attracted to them.
Find out if maybe he's bisexual, if so then it might work. Otherwise he won't be able to fulfill all of your needs, and any attempt at a relationship won't work out.

if a guy realy loves to another guy by deep of his heart and not mere use to fulfil his exception in lack of finding opposite one.Thats a gay... i am not saying its wrong, actually its true Love. But just to use as an exception... you are not gay you are a new category " Exception Guy".

Yes, why not? Sexuality is fluid, and labels only complicate things. If he's really in love, you should go for it.

Most of the time its not love. You might just be filling a part of his life he needs and because you are such a big part of his life he thinks he loves you cous he needs you so much
