Yes. South Africa has been consistent in one thing - inconsistency. Our bowling attack is too one dimensional and in the match against New Zealand we also appeared ill prepared to face a bowling lineup which was not a pure pace attack. We use to have the ability to play spin very well but no longer. The New Zealand match more than any other showed up our weakness on the bowling front. Robin Petersen's part time spin does not count as a varying line-up. NZ's captain could call on an attack which included Bond's pace, Mcmillans odd dibbly dobblers, Franklin's left arm swing, Patel's off spin, Vettori's left arm spin and Styris's slow medium pace.
While England may not have a bowling line-up of such depth, it is certainly more varied than South Africa's. If Kevin Pietersen gets in on the act South Africa are out. His average against South Africa is in the region of 151.00 whereas against any other country his average is 53 and a bit. He has a history of playing his best against us and if he's not dismissed early he could lead a charge along with Flintoff that would demolish us.
Yes, based on South Africa's on again-off again performance in this World Cup, I would be surprised if we won.

Yes if we don't watch Petersen, Flintoff and Colliwood.
Those 3 are the problem lets hope Pollock and Ntini perform because if those two do badly then its over for us.
By the way why was Langervelt not playing on Saturday he is our leading wicket take in the world cup so lets hope he bowls against England.
AB Deviliers that guy needs to have little more self confidence and he will win us the world cup , the thing is he just looks too nervse when the bowler comes charging down the wicket, that guy has the potential to be better then Lara and Suchen just more motivation thats all.

Oooooooooooooooh yes - they had better pull their socks up - they have been playing some shoddy second class matches and they could easily find themselves out.
The irony is that Peterson is playing for England and not SA, why is that?

For the love of myself, I am not going to watch the game. My heart will stop to beat, and I still want to live. Getting the score later will be better for me.
