Well, i supose if i saw my hubby banging my mom, i would be... confused.
But, you have a question, so lets try not to judge for your decision, mmk?
When someone cheats, its usually because they arent happy in their relationship, and want a way out.
Some people get so self destructive that they make decisions that really hurt the other person.
All you can do now, is apologize, take the end of the relationship with grace, and bow out.
Chances are you've really really really hurt your partner, more so than is fixable, best to just leave him/her be, and say your peace.
My guess is that the relationship probably ended a long time ago.

You are a "fool" first of all for having an affair with an in-law. If I were your partner I would send your sorry *** packing and would never want to see you again.

Well, without hesitation, you would be gone, history! If I was married to you or in a live in relationship with you, there would be no second chances. If you had loved the person you were with you would not of put yourself in that predicament, the in law would never be spoken to again. Once a Cheat is always a Cheat!

Well, I have no idea... but if I was the discoverer, I'd be sick to my stomach.
Are you trying to validate the way you feel by asking the question? It sounds like you're not the greatest guy in the world.

Devastated! What you did was wrong, immoral and hurtful and not only did you ruin it for yourself, you destroyed your partner's trust, with you, and so many other people.

you only got what was coming to you then......there's never a reason to cheat....never,
We always have the option of getting the hell away from someone we don't wish to be with....there's always the option of being honest, no matter what....cheating is bang out of order in my books....always better to let someone go first....
If we cheat or if we don't.....speaks volumes about us.....
