I liked 2001: A Space Odyssey.
But I'm not sure if it's *the* greatest movie of all time. :0)

Casablanca.
Drama, intrigue, romance, patriotism, deceit, heroism , humor and Nazis all rolled up into one. And more quotable lines than any other movie ever made.
And the most amazing thing is that it was about a bunch of refugees from the European war trying to escape to America and most of the actors were a bunch of refugees from the European war who had just escaped to America.

"Casablanca" simply MUST be on the list. You cannot make a list of greatest movies, or discuss greatest movies without including "Casablanca".
My Vote: CASABLANCA
