im sorry i meant that i would constantly have this burning sensations ( feeling) on my tongue

It sounds like you might have burning mouth syndrome. Its symptoms are a burning sensation in the tongue or other oral sites without any clinical findings. There are many causes for it and treatment depends on the cause. This is only what it might be. It would be best to see your doctor for a examination, formal diagnosis and treatment.

I have seen a couple of patients with burning mouth syndrome and they both said they had dental work done in the 1-2 wks prior to onset of symptoms. Drs diagnose this by drying affected area with a cotton ball and then putting visoucs lidocaine on it--if it burns instead of numbs, that's what they diagnose it as. I think they treat this with antiseizure and depression meds. Good luck.
