Can anyone recommend a three or four star hotel for a family with a 10 and 11 year old in athens.We would prefer to be about 2 km from the centre of athens.

My advise: find something in town center(near pedestrian zone), so you will not have to use transport.You can walk for hours and not have to think about traffic.And all tourist attractions are within walking distance.Also a lot of snacks available.And everything alive 24hours a day.And safe.

Check out www.periscope.gr.
It is in a very nice neighbourhood, near the centre, museums, etc, near the subway, near a bus line, and it is a design hotel, very nice one.

stay at the marriot its the best hotel and your family would love how modern and cool it is

I stayed at the oscar and it was convenient. There's a metro right on the corner

go to a Hampton inn or Marriott or an expensive one Cu's the cheap ones don't wash the comforters.
