Do you agree with the uniform code for girls in high schools, where uniforms are compulsory?

I meant about the white shirts, which creates few problems when we used to perspire or when it rained. Then it becomes a bit transparent. Should school authorities change dress code for girls or more appropriately remove uniform system.

uniforms are a very good idea.if its a white shirt then a t-shirt should be worn under it.

I do not agree. There is no proof that students perform better when forced to wear the same thing. I also believe it takes away a child's individuality - and causes undo abuse of power for administrators. Edit: Just because people are wearing the "same" clothes does not mean comparisons to where each other bought their clothes and how much they cost will stop. A white shirt from Wal-Mart costs less and probably isn't made as well as a shirt from the Gap is. Kids, and adults alike, know these differences, and will continue to compare each other because of them.

i think white is the best uniform color because it doesn't show the sweat traces, though it kind of get transparent. but it could be fixed if they try to put a thicker material so it wouldn't get transparent. in my opinion, a uniform-less school looks disorganized.

Why are you not wearing a jacket when it is raining? I think uniforms are important, learn to respect it.

i think it helps prevent kids being ostracized for what they wear, either because of economics or just as a fashion statement, it levels the playing field a bit.
