Did the invasive media coverage of William and Kate's relationship prove to be too much of a strain on the royal couple, or has William just taken awhile to come around to his brother's way of drinking...I mean thinking.

Well no one will really know except for the two of them (unless she sells her story for 12 million (aus) dollars as has been touted! Hope she doesn't become a female Paul Burrell!! Look, I reckon the media coverage would have been a major part of it, and the constant scrutiny....it obviously bothered both of them a lot lately with their outbursts against the media asking to be left alone....but also, William HAS been in a relationship for a long time for a young bloke, he's just joined the Army and will be away from her for long periods of time, and maybe he just thought, hey I need to get out there and live a little. She seemed a lovely girl, but I reckon he needed to have a few more girlfriends before he settled down. Marriage, for him, is supposed to be for a long time.

Time will tell. It's better than rushing into marriage.
