She is just tight honey. When you penatrate her when she hasn't had it for so long it can caus a little tears and streching. Nothing to be alarmed about. This something that can happen everytime unless you use these precautions; you should go out and buy some lubrication this will help the penis slide in and out and not have to much friction of the skin to make any tears. Also you need to slow down you have to make sure you are in the right angle and the right pace to strech the vagina not rip it right open. So be gentle and careful and make sure she is fully lubed up. Good luck!

It is possible. Sometimes the hymen does not rupture during the act, due to lubrications, and small size of penis. May be she did not bleed then.

After 3 years the vaginal opening might have contracted and with larger diameter and higher firce... Yes possible.

Less possible - She might have some infection or blister which got ruptured.

One more possibility-------- Are you sure she only bled and not you?? After all it was your first time too. The fore skin may rupture in some cases and men can also bleed. It will be mistaken for vaginal bleeding.

Whoa, it may be what the others were saying, but she needs to see her OB ASAP. Post coital bleeding could be caused by a lot of things like:
Cervical Dysplasia (precancerous changes)
Chlamydia
Gonorrhea
Vaginitis
Cervical Polyps
Trichomoniasis
Yeast Infection
Endometriosis
Uterine Polyps
Fibroid Tumors

Please encourage her to see a doctor. Don't freak out, it might be nothing, but a check up never hurts.

The bleeding may occur if she has not made love in a while.

Chances are she was not relaxed since you were a new partner. Do go gently and use some lubricant. Plenty of foreplay....let her enjoy you, touching, kissing, run your fingers along her back, barely touching with your fingertips.....discover what she likes and ask if she likes it. With a new partner you need to demonstrate that you want to please her as well. Its time well spent by the way. Most important.....Take your time, its not a race.

Happiness to you both.

This is completely normal, especially after such a long period since last having sex.

If it happens again and again it could be due to her not being fully aroused when penetration takes place. Make sure there's plenty of foreplay and enter her slowly.

Good luck!
