Absoulutely. It's a company called Shoes for Crews. I think they are aimed towards the service industry but lets be honest, restaurant employees aren't the only ones who need comfortable, slip- resistant shoes. They have all different styles from sneaker to dress and they are made specifically for long hours and comfort. The slip-resis part is just a bonus if you're not in the food biz. Check out their page. I believe they are having a sale right now.

The ones I have just recently found and loved are from Crocs. They are the prima ballet flats. They are really light weight, REALLY comfy, and really cute. I have the black ones, and you can't even tell that they aren't dressy flats when you wear them with pants! I'm up on my feet for 10 - 12 hours a day, and haven't found anything better!

Go to Clarkes. They have the best shoes for running around at work all day, I can't wear anything else for work or I'd be crippled. They do a great range of flat comfortable shoes.

I second Virginia!! Doc Martens are the ONLY way to go.
I was a waitress for 11 years, so believe me when I say Doc Martens are THE most comfortable shoe when you have to be on your feet all day.

placed on stockings and residences? i think of it relatively is going to be extra gentle. choose to no longer placed on heels, form of discomfort after that. Get a flat that suits you properly, adequate room and would not rub. How approximately Crocs? the fabric they use, would not have plenty friction in case you place on stockings and could no longer rub with out stocking too. form of comfortable too. in basic terms be careful whilst it includes escalator.

the best thing to do is go to the shoe shop, get them to measure ur feet for the best fit, and if your on your feet for 81/2 like me, i would go for a wide fitting shoe with gell insoles for comfort, you can get gell inserts at your chemist made by scholl.

brands are up to you, but things to look for are rubber soles, GOOD fit before style, and don't go with the most cushion, its actually better to have a firmer surface than a soft one. for me i like the Walking Store, rockports. Good shoes are worth the extra money.
