They are called Landing Gears and are sometimes referred to as training wheels. They are touted as a safety feature for those who have trouble controlling their motorcycle at low speeds. They do not come as standard equipment and are an aftermarket accessory.

I've never heard of such a thing on a Goldwing. And I've never seen that feature on any motorcycle. Maybe it was a custom modification one individual made for their bike to aid in a disability.

It's either training wheels, or something keeps falling off the bike...you need to get that fixed.

that is training wheels or for people who want to ride but may be handicapped .It holds the bike up when stopping

mostly for people with disability
