do you think that the South African team should scrap the quota system which stipulates that they have to have 4 non white players in the starting 11 at all times? I think this has been there problem for many years and the starting 11 should be the nations best, whether that is a team off all white players or a team of non white players.

A fully agree with you. Any team to be representing a nation should be the best team available in the country and no quota system should come in the way.

I agree, the players should be selected on merrit and not colour.
I dont believe that having those players in the team was the protea's problem though. The team simply does not have the killer instinct when it really counts. We tend to choke when all the cards are on the table.

South Africa is paying price of past sins.What prevented them earlier to encourage blacks till Mandela was released.What they sowed they are reaping and the day another 10 Nitinies rise then they will win.

I agree 101%, for e.g look what happening now with our teams esp. proteas, we have many good players from another race but because of this pathetic system our sport is going down the drain.

It should be done as it is always beend done....even the team that SA have now. Skin colour has nothing to do with it. But even so...I think that players of colour should be given a chance according to merit....it is Africa after all!!!!!!
