The only thing that separates Blair from thatcher is Blair's average interest rate is 10% lower, and as for Brown and Hesseltine, 1 has brains and the other is a Tory.

Labour are seemingly made up of different groups of people - Backbencher Rebels, Blairites etc.
The Blairites seem to be in power at the moment, and they seem to be focussed on something (what it is I don't know, but it doesn't seem particularly wholesome).
The Tories seem to be focussed simply on defeating Labour and have no agenda for the UK at all, and the Liberal Democrats never had an agenda in the first place or so it seems to me.
Without John Prescott the Labour Party would be the same as it is now, just one less dumbass in the government that's all.

There has been a lot of convergence in recent years, with the two main parties trying to out-Tory each other. Even Prescott sounds horribly right-wing these days.
To answer your question, Labour are too Tory full stop!

It became into human beings like me who for generations of Labour voters depended on and voted for, election after election for individuals like John Prescott,,, and that they ain't there no-extra, the Prescott's have all yet have been given,,, regrettably. And this has no longer precisely opened a door, no longer yet, even though it has unlocked it,,, you mark my words.

The fact are that Labour are all Tory rhetoric without any Tory substance - like Brown's tax 'giveaway' and then his tax 'takeitallback'.

Talking of John Prescott...Where is he these days..??
I am just wondering cos he dont seem to be doing a lot for his highly inflated ( taxpayers) wages and pension.
I was going to write 'Pay'...but to be paid...you have to work.

Margaret Thatcher was your finest leader aside from Churchill in the 20th Century
It's sad really, how far you once-proud Brits have fallen
