NO! 9/11 happened because people who have been brainwashed wanted to kill innocent Americans. The terrorist are nothing more than a cult. Neglecting other countries? When did the US become the parent for the world? We are good enough to get money from but everyone hates us? Why can't other countries fix their own problems instead of expecting the US to the save them? Better yet, why don't they go to Russia, China, Germany or France for assistance?

As a matter of fact I think it was the very opposite which led to 911. It was the US foreign policy of constant meddling in other countries affairs since the end of WWII which has angered so many around the world.
Suppose the US hadn't been using countries such as Afghanistan to fight the cold war with the Ruskies. Now Bin Laden has no help from the CIA and it's allies in the muslim world (1). Then maybe he never feels abandoned by the US when they give up their covert assistance after the Afghans oust the Commies. Perhaps then he isn't driven to help carry out those horrific attacks.
An interesting note is that the US has been training foreign terrorists for years (2/3)... Inside it's own borders. Time and time again this has caused problems. I'm not sure if Americans are aware of this or not, but you can hardly hope to root out terrorism if you support it domestically.
Time after time an aggressive foreign policy bent on manipulating politics in sovereign nations has come back to haunt the US. Korea. Vietnam. Iran. Iraq. Afghanistan. Almost any country in South America... One only has to wonder when, not if, the American meddling in Saudi Arabia will come back to haunt them. One begins to wonder what it will take for America to learn from her mistakes.
Ah, but war is good business (4) and killing people adds to the bottom line. Just ask Halliburton. Or Boeing. Or Lockheed. Or... you get the picture. I wish the truth weren't so morbid. The truly sad part is it doesn't have to be. Nonetheless, the rest of the democratic world watches as the civil liberties of the mighty US of A are eroded one-by-one in the name of 'patriotism'. We are also reminded which road was paved with good intentions.

9/11 happended because of people who have a world view that is entirely dominated by the hatred taught to them by religious fundamentalists. All that happened on 9/11 was that the whole world got to see the true face of Islamic fundamentalism in a way that couldn't be ignored.

Its a combination of the beliefs of radical Islam, the USA supporting Israel, and USA activity in the middle east.
Even if the USA never did anything in the middle east the most radical muslims would still hate the west though I do believe that. Whether they would do terrorist acts.. im not sure.

No, I think it happened because the globalist elite/Illuminati are working toward the creation of a New World Order, and this was just one of the strategies that they planned to scare the people into giving away our freedoms. They have many strategies to that purpose, but they also wanted the war. They always want war, because war is very profitable to the Illuminati, and this war was never intended to end! *sm*

I cannot believe the people willing to blame the victim. These Liberals who are so quick to say our nation is at fault for a group of crazed killers flying planes full of our people into buildings full of our people.
Yet these same people would never have the gall to consider blaming victims of abortion clinic bombings, or the Oklahoma City bombing (at least they got that right).

No 9/11 happened because We WERE messing with otehr countries. as long as we keep meddling with other countries it's going to keep happening. Were we to stay out, American citizens would be safe and everybody would love us, but some people (coughLiberalscough) just hate to think of that happening.
