Age group 45 v 50. From a mans understanding to a lady, please advise me....I met a 45 year old guy who seems to have a high but unusual sex drive and I believe not had a g'friend for a longtime (note its not helping that I am in meno.p..and off it somewhat anyway). However he is not content at having just 1 orgasm, so far he needs 3 and it takes too long, which Im hoping will wear off if we do stay together. However if I offer to help him by hand etc after intercourse, he seems to take for ever, I mean 20 mins to reach orgasm etc, and sometimes without being erect in the first place, so what is the point of having to reach orgasm like this, it seems a struggle, why not be happy at just one. I really don’t understand.

Perhaps, he has an ego thing that makes him want to show you how virile he is. Tell him that you are not into the sex marathon. We don't have p-ssys of steel. Have him break up the sessions into different time segments. He might be in his mid life crisis. This will pass. Many men believe the longer the sex session; the better. Most women agree that after awhile, it becomes uncomfortable. Enough already! Use a lot of K-Y jelly for your comfort and stroke his ego so that you two can engage in other activities as well. His refractory period is longer than when he was younger. It's the time period between erections. He can't get it up as quickly as a younger man. Quality and not quantity is the key. Be supportive and gentle so that you don't find yourself distancing yourself from him. Have a great weekend.

People's sexual practices vary greatly from person to person. If he needs to have 3 orgasms, he has some sort of compulsion. There is no explanation for why he feels he needs this, unless he goes through psychoanalysis. So if I were you, I wouldn't bother to wonder why. If you really like the guy, then try to go along with what he wants even if he seems to take forever. And if some time he fails to make it to the 3rd climax, be reassuring to him by telling him it's okay and you find he pleases you and you find him to be a very sexy guy. If he hasn't had a girlfriend in a long time, it seems he lacks self-confidence and he needs his woman to show him that he is a great guy.
