My cats mostly sleep, unless my dog starts chasing them. Then the cat slashes the dog's nose with his claws and the dog backs off.
We don't have any mice. Well, not real ones anyway, just catnip ones, and the dog tears those to shreds.

My oldest daughter and I chase the cats when they catch a mouse so we can release it outside.
I absolutely hate mice, but I hate it worse when the cats "play" with it for a long time till it dies.

How did you know that, With the heatwave there are a lot of mice and now we have had to put out traps and poison cos the cat is too fat and lazy to earn her keep..

Nope, my cat loves chasing stuff though he's not always good at catching stuff he quite often comes back with the birds nest rather than a bird. Luckly, we don't have mice! *Touch wood*
